Why subscribe?

a mosthuman manifesto is an exploration of the emerging stories, myths, and legends of our time. They venture into, or perhaps out of, the deep and hidden histories of our world. They seem to assure us that a more beautiful world is possible.

Regular topics include:

• How we humans came to be this way,

• who we might have once before been,

• and the Dream of who we could still be.

Others include:

• Why the world seems like it’s going so wrong,

• how it came to be so,

• and the thresholds of initiation we are passing through to become the beautiful humans we were surely meant to be - brims full of purpose, a point to our direction and days, a good reason for our living.

These stories are works in progress and have a life of their own. Your engaging in them feeds them, and the feedback you give will shape the ultimate forms they take.

Together, we can hone the stories’ tellings so they are rich and compelling, the way stories used to filter through the soil of many generations to ensure their archetypes were strong, mythically rich, and intact. My only hope for them is that they are useful - for our time and for times to come - and that we know, by the Old Songs and the New, that we are right now within them, the people of the stories we tell which will one day be only legend.
